Back in 2001, Ivan and Svetla Ivanov, a family of agronomists, decided to plant a Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, which is today one of the oldest in the country for the variety.
Only 15km from the first Bulgarian capital - Pliska, and 15km from the unique Madara Horseman is the village of Tsarev Brod (where the kings roam). Named after the land in which it is located, our winery opened its doors in 2015, with local wine varieties as our priority. The rare red variety Evmolpia, named after the Thracian name of Plovdiv. The unique variety Gergana, which you can officially find only with us, because it was lost and then restored by Ivan and Svetla.
