At the foot of the Osogovo Mountain, where the air whispers stories of the past and the land is steeped in Bulgarian traditions, lies the "Srachno" Craft Workshop - a corner dedicated to the preservation and revival of Bulgarian culture and crafts.

Our longing is to welcome more and more visitors to the Srchnoe Craft Workshop to immerse them in an experience that takes them back in time.

We love meeting diverse visitors and passing on what we know and can do best. And our greatest reward is seeing the sparkle in their eyes as they proudly show off their handmade creations.

The art of leatherworking

It has been passed down for generations, so you will have the opportunity to touch upon centuries-old techniques and secrets that are shared as a treasured heritage. Like a true apprentice in the workshop, you will first get to know the basics. You will learn about the different types of genuine leather, tools and techniques used in leatherworking. And then you will choose what to create:

Classic mini key chain wallet,
Kitten mini wallet or
Dog keychain.

By choosing what to create, you will receive a template, silver (a special chemical for leather) and the magic will begin.

Immersing yourself in the magical workshop will hone your cutting and sewing skills to create your own unique leather product. And remember, leatherworking is more than just a craft - it's a way to express yourself!

We give everyone, regardless of age and experience, the opportunity to learn about the craft and create their own leather product with their own hands.

The first level you can get from the "Srchno" workshop is the apprentice level. We will present you with a certificate that will leave a warm memory of the experience. It deserves to be placed in a central place at home, where it will invite you to tell your guests about the exciting day at the "Srchno" workshop, about natural leather and your unforgettable experience with it. And, of course, for the recognition that comes from masters with many years of experience, awarding you the title of apprentice.
