Details

The destination of this exciting escape is the picturesque Selishte, nestled near Apriltsi in the heart of the Central Balkans. A small hamlet with only a dozen houses, located on a southern slope at an altitude of 500 meters. Here time flows lazily, and the silence is broken only by the song of birds and the whisper of the forest.

From the doorstep of the house, a majestic view of the Stara Planina Mountains opens up - the peaks of Botev, Kademliya and Maragidik rise like guardians of this magical corner.

The village is reached via a third-class road with curves that hide their challenge, but every minute spent on it is worth it - because the reward is tranquility and pure mountain beauty.

Just a step away from here is the Central Balkan National Park - one of the largest and most important protected areas in Europe, ready to immerse you in adventures and unforgettable encounters with wildlife.

Karashka is a priceless heritage among the houses of the Bulgarian National Revival era – built in 1921, it has been restored with great care to preserve the spirit of the past. Stone, clay and wood – only natural materials that bring warmth and coziness. The roof with stone slabs preserves the feeling of authenticity, and every corner exudes harmony.

The house has three bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor, a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room on the ground floor. In the old barn there is a separate studio for two, which brings the total capacity to 7 guests. The place is ideal for lovers of mountain hikes and new discoveries, but also for those who seek solitude, slow mornings with aromatic coffee and evenings under the stars with a glass of wine.

Here you can combine the tranquility of the village with the magic of the mountain - a journey back in time and inward towards yourself.
